The Special monthly of the Town of Tompkins Town Board was held during a video conference via Zoom and was called to order at 7:05 pm

Others:
1. Michelle Phoenix – Town Clerk
2. Ron VanValkenburg – Highway Superintendent
3. Nancy Roberts – Bookkeeper
RESOLUTION #24 APPROVAL TO AUTHORIZE THE TOMPKINS TOWN BOARD TO CANCEL 1% INTEREST CHARGES ON REAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL 2020
On motion by Albanese seconded by Layton the Town of Tompkins Town Board hereby approves to Authorize the Tompkins Town Board to Cancel 1% interest charges on Real Property Taxes for the month of April 2020.
All in Favor – Motion Carried.
Other:
Albanese questioned how things were going with the COVID situation with the Highway Crew.
Layton stated he supplied the crew with masks, protective eye equipment and hand wipes
A discussion took place about social distancing and Ron stated it had all been explained to the crew.
