The regular monthly meeting of the Town of Tompkins Town Board was called to order at 7:01 pm in the Town meeting room, Trout Creek, NY. With Howie Buttel leading in the Flag salute.

Bids: All season dump body for the 2007 International.
Received one bid from Tenco.
On motion by Albanese, seconded by Buttel to accept Tenco bid. And per bid Tenco to install body.

Minutes Approval:
On motion by Buttel, seconded by LaTourette, it was moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting for May 14, 2019

Abstract of Claims
On motion by Albanese, seconded by Buttel, it was moved to approve the Abstract of Claims for June 11, 2019 as follows:
General Fund: $3,942.72
Highway Fund: $51372.35 with an amendment to Hwy voucher #138 to be $13.95
Vote: All AYEs – Motion carried.
Monthly Financial Reports:
Town Clerk:
On motion by Backus, seconded by Buttel, it was moved to receive, approve and place on file the Town Clerk monthly report for May 2019.
Vote: All AYEs – Motion carried.
Supervisor’s Report:
On motion by Albanese seconded by Backus, it was moved to approve and place on file the supervisor’s monthly financial report as of 5/31/2019 dated June 11, 2019.
Vote: All AYEs – Motion carried.
On motion by Buttel, seconded by Backus to approve the Abstract of Claims dated June 11, 2019 for the sewer district in the amount of $2480.38
Vote – All Ayes – motion carried
On Motion by LaTourette, seconded by Layton it was moved to approve the Trout Creek Sewer District, Monthly Financial Report dated 5/30/2019
Vote – All Ayes – Motion Carried
Other Reports:
Sewer district workers report – Discussion took place on a complaint about the lids at the Fire Department property and the Church property. Will advise the SD workers to take a look at them again and discuss it further after we receive their report
Planning Board – None
Assessor – Provided – Wendy was also present and stated that they had no one come for grievance day.
Dog Control Officer – New DCO Chris Bodo from Hamden
Highway Superintendent
1. Working roads in between rain storms
2. Out mowing and boom mowing
3. Hauling gravel
4. Have had numerous breakdowns
5. Employee will be out of work for a long length of time and may not be back until beginning of year
6. Short handed this year
7. The temp employee is doing good running broom and mowing.
Supervisor –
1. Bill presented the board with information for the new Election law for employees.
2. Working on process to sell Kelsey property and the small lot on 206. Paul Eaton is working on it
3. Provided the board with a sample policy on the bidding process. On motion by Albanese, seconded by Buttel to start using the new guidelines for the bidding process. Vote: All Ayes
4. Discussed the rain gardens and the upkeep of them
Other –
Albanese provided the board with speculations for the repair of the school house roof. The board reviewed them. On motion by Layton, seconded by Backus to put the bid out in the paper.
Vote – All Ayes
Albanese has contacted a painter exterior of the school house and it is scheduled to be done in the 1st week of July. Forno enterprises are covering all costs
On motion by Buttel seconded by Layton to accept donation from Forno Enterprises,
