The regular monthly meeting of the Town of Tompkins Town Board was called to order at 7:00 pm in the Town meeting room, Trout Creek, NY. With Howie Buttel leading in the Flag salute.

RESOLUTION # 42 APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion was made by Backus, seconded by Buttel approving the minutes of the regular meeting for June 9, 2020
All in Favor – Motion Carried.

RESOLUTION # 43 ABSTRACT OF CLAIMS
On motion by Backus, seconded by Buttel, it was moved to approve the Abstract of Claims for July 14, 2020 as follows:
General Fund: $3,850.25
Highway Fund: $112,425.80
All in favor – Motion carried.

Monthly Financial Reports:
RESOLUTION #44 TOWN CLERK
On Motion by Albanese, seconded by Layton it was moved to receive, approve and place on file the Town Clerks July, 2020 monthly report.
All in favor – Motion Carried

RESOLUTION # 45 SUPERVISOR REPORT
On motion by Albanese seconded by Backus, it was moved to approve and place on file the supervisor’s monthly financial reports as of 6/30/2020 dated 7/14/2020.
All in favor – Motion Carried

RESOLUTION #46 SEWER DISTRICT ABSTRACT OF CLAIMS
On motion by Backus, seconded by Albanese to approve the sewer districts Abstract of Claims for July 14, 2020 as follows $2,537.37
All in favor – Motion carried.

RESOLUTION #47 SEWER DISTRICT FINACIAL
A motion was made by Albanese seconded by LaTourette it was moved to approve and place on file the sewer districts monthly financial report as of 6/30/2020 dated 7/14/2020.
All in favor, motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS –
Need to advertise the permissive referendum for Kelsey Community house / property.
The grant for the Creamery is a complete mess and Brian has done everything he can to straited it out with the state but they can’t understand the changes.

NEW BUSINESS – NONE

REPORTS:
Sewer District workers report – July’s report provided

Assessor – None
Planning Board – None
Dog control Officer – None

Highway Superintendent –
1. Ron stated we are due $ 234,729.50 in Chips funds but they will possibly hold back 20% of those funds.
2. Ron explained that they pug milled and stoned $161,568 on Tower Mountain roads leaving about $73,161.50 of the chip’s funds. Ron figures they will use about $96,000 to get the rest of what he wants to do on those roads.
3. Working roads, mowing and weed whacking, boom mowing, cut brush, shoulder work done on Pine Swamp, Minor equipment repairs have been done.
4. Would like to look into getting grindings ground smaller.
5. Summer help has painted the salt shed; it was noticed that the peek of the salt shed Roof will soon need attention.
6. Hauled the rest of the gravel, more gravel needs to be crushed
7. Boom mower needs a repair that could be costly
8. Ron explained how he was not happy with Robert Greene Inc.
