The regular monthly meeting of the Town of Tompkins Town Board was called to order at 7:00 pm in the Town meeting room, Trout Creek, NY. With Brian Albanese leading in the Flag salute.

RESOLUTION # 24 – 2024 APPROVAL OF MINUTES
On motion by Peggy Backus, seconded by Howard Buttel, approving the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on February 13, 2024

RESOLUTION # 25-2024 ABSTRACT OF CLAIMS
On motion by Brian Albanese, seconded by Peggy Backus, it was moved to approve the Abstract of Claims for February 2024 as follows:
General Fund: $211,129.41
Highway Fund: $702,632.02

RESOLUTION # 26-2024 TOWN CLERKS MONTHLY REPORT
On motion by Peggy Backus, seconded by Howard Buttel, it was moved to receive, and place on file the Town Clerk’s monthly report for February 2024.

RESOLUTION # 27- 2024 SUPERVISOR MONTHLY FINANCIAL REPORT
On motion by Tim LaTourette, seconded by Peggy Backus, it was moved to approve and place on file the
Supervisor’s monthly financial reports as of February 29, 2024, dated 03/12/2024.

RESOLUTION # 28-2024 SEWER DISTRICT ABSTRACT OF CLAIMS
On motion by Peggy Backus, seconded by Howard Buttel, to approve the Sewer Districts Abstract of Claims for March 12, 2024, as follows: $3,997.06.

RESOLUTION # 29 – 2024 SEWER DISTRICT FINANCIAL
On motion by Brian Albanese, seconded by Tim LaTourette, it was moved to approve and place on file the
Sewer Districts monthly financial reports for February 29, 2024, dated 03/12/2024.

OLD BUSINESS:
Fire Tower – Road has been established and trees cut, we need direction from DEP as to what material can be used for road base.
UTV’s on Highway Roads – No new updates to report.
Walking Trail – John Decker was contacted by Bill about his land adjacent to the proposed trail.
Flood Mitigation – Motion made by Brian, seconded by Tim to enter into an agreement with Delaware County Soil and Water for flood mitigation.

NEW BUSINESS:
Scheduled an appointment to upgrade the router.
School House Rental – ask them to write 2 checks, one for the rental and the second one for the deposit fee of $25.00 and then that check can be given back when the hall is cleaned up.

REPORTS:
Sewer District workers report – Provided
Highway Superintendent –
Michelle to work with Ron on shared service agreement and add NYS DOT to the form.
There has been very little snow plowing this month and expect less snow removal money to be received than what is budgeted.
Tree cleanup was completed from windstorm.
Cold Patching areas as needed.
Started Boom mowing and sweeping along the roads.
Al will no longer be able to work for the town part time to help during the summer, we may be shorthanded.
No delivery updates on the new tractor at this time.
The new truck is expected to be completed in October and will be ready to get upfit with the accessories.
